The famous waters of the spas - Vittel, Contrexéville, Bains-les-Bains, Plombières and Amnéville - attract both patients and tourists looking either for a tonic or a lucky break in the casino. The art-deco casino of Vittel, now a UNESCO classified building, is a must for its architecture. Less rich in minerals, but more so in fish, the Moselle, the Meurthe and the Meuse are alive with trout, carp and pike.
